Today, I get to share with you my love of nature and some fun crochet patterns and a new pattern release.
I've lived in Northern Utah my whole life and honestly, I don't know what I would do without my beautiful mountains. Growing up, I looked forward to our annual fall rides in the mountain in with my whole family. We would count how many wild animals we could find, pick a red leaf from the beautiful trees and I loved seeing all the wild flowers along the way.
I remember one time when we were all in the bed of the truck with our pillows and bean bags enjoying the ride and the view when my dad stopped the truck for a doe. She was right next to the dirt road with her fawn and she just stood there and watched us. She was beautiful and must have sensed that we weren't going to hurt her. She nodded her head and turned to walk away. Stunning!!! Now that I have kids of my own, I love that they love nature too and appreciate the opportunity to see the wildlife. They beg to take the mountain path to my parent's house so they can try and spot the deer too.
It is absolutely amazing to just sit and watch nature at it's best. Whether you live near the mountains or the ocean, country or city, take a moment to just watch and listen. Watch the bees in the flowers, the butterflies and lady bugs. Listen to the birds and watch how care free they fly. Relax and watch the fish in a pond or listen to the frogs croaking their song. How fascinating it all can be if we just notice it's there.
Today, we have a few "nature" crochet patterns for you to enjoy for just $1 through 11/18/17 11:59pm
